Spring is my favorite season. It’s full of change…from the warmer weather to the blossoming flowers. I also change my beauty routine in the spring. I use more lightweight moisturizers and brighter makeup colors. Today I’m sharing some of my favorite spring beauty products.
Clinique Superdefense Age Defense Eye Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 20
I like that this Clinique eye cream contains a good mix of anti-aging ingredients, and it has SPF built right in. It has a very subtle white but non-sparkly tint, which helps cover up dark circles without looking like you put on glittery makeup.
Pixi Beauty Lumi Lux Radiance Powder
I absolutely love, love, love Pixi Beauty’s Lumi Lux Radiance Powder. It’s the only illuminating powder I have found that gives me a soft glow without shimmer. There are so many highlighters/bronzers on the market that you can’t wear to work because they have too much shimmer, but not this one. It’s perfect — a subtle but radiant glow. Also try dusting it over your face to eliminate any excess shine after putting on foundation.
100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Lip Gloss
I love 100% Pure products because they are completely natural with no chemicals added. The color of this lip gloss comes from fruit pigments. It smells fruity but it doesn’t have a sweet taste (perfect for me because I dislike lip products with artificial sweeteners). These colors are juicy pink grapefruit and mauvely.
I love Tarte blushes because they come in so many bright spring colors, not to mention the pretty packaging. My favorite is the Thankful color pictured, and I also like the Blissful and Achiote colors.
Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet
I usually use a facial oil in the winter, because it helps my skin from becoming too dry. But as the weather becomes warmer in the spring, I prefer to use a lightweight moisturizer. This Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet is perfect because a small pea-sized amount is enough for my whole face, and it absorbs into the skin quickly. I put it on at night, and my face feels so soft by the morning.
L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream
This L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream is one of my favorite hand creams of all time. The shea butter is moisturizing but not greasy, and it has a lovely shea scent. I keep one in my purse and one at my desk.
Avene Thermal Spring Water
This Avene Thermal Spring Water spray mister is great to refresh your skin on a hot afternoon, post-workout, or at the beach.
