Today I’m sharing my favorite drugstore beauty products. I’m a total beauty product junkie. I love experimenting with new skincare and makeup products, and it’s even more fun when they are affordable! Here is my list of “must have” drugstore beauty products:
– Revlon nail polish – I love the low price of these nail polishes (usually under $5), and the range of colors. Typically, I only need one coat. Plus, the nail polish dries really fast! My favorite is gray suede (pictured), which is a perfect neutral shade.
– Neutrogena Triple Moisture Shampoo – This shampoo is great for dry or damaged hair. It’s so moisturizing that I don’t even use the conditioner! It’s like a shampoo plus conditioner in one. I like skipping the conditioning step because I feel that most conditioners weigh my hair down. Plus, I shed a lot of hair when I wash it, so skipping the conditioning step helps protect from added hair loss. After using this shampoo, my hair always feels silky and smooth.
– Olay Pro-X Spin Brush – I bought this brush four years ago, when I really wanted the Clarisonic but didn’t want to pay the high price for the Clarisonic. I finally splurged on the Clarisonic brush last year, and I feel like both brushes clean my skin equally well. The difference is that the Olay brush spins, while the Clarisonic brush vibrates. If you don’t want to spend a lot for a cleaning brush, then I highly recommend this Olay brush.
– E.L.F. Cosmetics – I love browsing the E.L.F cosmetics at Target! The packaging is so chic like high-end makeup. My favorite E.L.F. products are the Studio Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder (a great dupe for the NARS blush/bronzer duo), the lip glosses, and the blending eyeshadow brush (the ONLY eyeshadow brush I use now).
– Dove Body Wash – These moisturize well, and the scents are not too overpowering. My favorite is the pistachio cream with magnolia scent.
–Eucerin Daily Protection SPF 30 Face Lotion – This SPF face lotion is truly non-greasy. I’ve tried so many that say they are non-greasy, but they actually are! Plus, this one is cheap enough that I don’t feel bad spreading it onto my neck and decolletage too! And it doesn’t leave a white cast on my skin!
– CeraVe Eye Cream – For a drugstore eye cream, this works as well (if not better) than many expensive brands I’ve tried. The texture is thick like a cream but spreads easily, so I’m not tugging at the delicate eye area to apply it.
– Neutrogena Eye Makeup Remover – This eye makeup remover doesn’t irritate my eyes or dry out the skin around the eye area. Just put a little on a cotton ball and it removes makeup easily!
